There are open and effective pathways of communication between the parents and the school. This will be provided in a variety of ways, such as:

• Newsletters
• Parent Meetings
• School Surveys
• Informal Parent Groups; PTA, Whanau Group

Our Maori community will be consulted through the above methods as well as through:

• Whanau group meetings
• Meetings with local iwi (Ngati Awa)

Parents are encouraged to attend Board meetings and meet with teachers and the Principal to discuss their views / thoughts of the direction of Ohope Beach School.
