We have a wonderful staff.  The school is separated into three syndicates.  The syndicate and class names have their translation beside them.  The syndicates are named after parts of the Pohutukawa tree.  The Pohutukawa tree is prominent in our community.

Board of Trustees                                      

The Board of Trustees meets in the school staff room on Monday's of week five and nine of each term at 5:30pm. Upcoming meetings are advertised in the school newsletter. Parents/caregivers are invited to attend the Board meetings.

The Board of Trustees are elected every three years. The agenda for, and minutes from, Board of Trustees meetings are available at the school office. Annual reports, budgets and policies are also available from the office on request. A Board of Trustees newsletter, outlining points discussed and decisions made, is sent out on a regular basis.

Parent & Teachers Association (PTA)      

Parent Teacher Association The school has an active Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) which plays a vital role in providing support for the children of our school. The Association involves itself in supporting curriculum evenings, organisation of social occasions, special projects and fund raising. We are particularly fortunate in the dedication and enthusiasm shown by our P.T.A.

Meetings of the PTA are held regularly, usually at 7.30pm twice per term on a  Monday in the school staffroom. New members are always welcome.
