This was a great evening. 
There was heaps to eat and
do including sumo wrestling

The Gardener told great stories
and was really entertaining.

Swimming Sports 
Every child participated in our
swimming sports or demo
to show the skills we had developed.

Nga Peka Camp
Our Year 2-4 syndicate had an
awesome camp staying in
Ohope.  They learned about
our local area and did a
beach clean up.

Kiwi Release
A group of children attended the
latest release of three kiwi in
our local area.  

Nga Huiarau Camp
Our Year 4-6 syndicate had their
camp in Tauranga.  They stayed on
two marae and they did kayaking,
team building and an estuary study.

'Strike' Show
Strike is a percussion group who
tour NZ and the World.  They
were LOUD but really funny
and skillful.

Steve Gurney Visit
What a legend!  Steve talked
to our Year 3-6 children about
goal setting and a positive
attitude.  We were lucky!

'Kahurangi' Show
This really inspired our Kapa
Haka group to do even better. 
The showwas based around
'taonga - gifts'

Disco
A great chance to show off
our smooth dance moves. 
We enjoyed the music, the glow
sticks and especially the food! 

Hail Storm!
Our school was white.  The hail
storm hit just after school and
caused some damage to our
hall.  Mother Nature is powerful!

Otarawairere Trip
Nga Paiaka (Year 1 Syndciate)
walked to Otarawairere to study
the rock pools.
